Chair manufacturer Booho Ind. Co. Ltd (CEO : KIM, Sang-chul) held the extraordinary general meeting at the headquarters in Dalseo-gu, Daegu, on December 11, 2019, and announced to change the name of the company to Bestuhl Co., Ltd (bestuhl in English) from January 1, 2020, by revising the related articles.
bestuhl is the compound word of ‘bester stuhl’ (‘best chair’ in German). The simultaneously announced new slogan ‘The Start of My Position’ shows the company’s dedication to create the best space that also implies one’s job and performance beyond the simple concept of space. Moreover, the new CI conveys bestuhl’s technology and pride in design, and reflects the future vision of developing continuous product research.
With the name change as a starting point, bestuhl plans to diversify its space management from chairs to working environment for the best space. In particular, shared offices and mobile mobility will be targeted to be upgraded as a response to mobile business working environment.
